ROADS: One of the main axis of the road network in Terres de l’Ebre is the A7 motorway, which connects La Jonquera with the south of the Spanish State all along the Mediterranean coast. Another of the important regional roads is the C-12, which is known as l’Eix de l'Ebre (Axis of the Ebro) and crosses the country from south to north and connects with the region of Lleida. Likewise, the N-340 and the AP-7 motorway follow the coastal line and connect with Barcelona. Finally, the N-420 road connects Terres de l’Ebre with Zaragoza, crossing some regions in the Teruel province and the regions of Terra Alta and Ribera d’Ebre. Moreover, there is a whole network of secondary roads which allow the communication by car among the different towns and villages in Terres de l’Ebre. |

TRANSPORTS: The region Terres de l’Ebre has got a good bus network which connects the main towns with the villages and lots of Catalan and Spanish towns and cities. Moreover, travellers can enjoy the urban bus services in Tortosa and Amposta. As far as trains are concerned, there are three axis of communication: there are two regional railway lines (RENFE) in Terres de l'Ebre. The first line follows the coast and connects with the French border and the south of the Iberian Peninsula; the second one, connects Tarragona with Zaragoza across the region of Ribera d'Ebre. We should also add the (AVE) or High Speed Train, which connects Madrid with Lleida and Tarragona. Moreover, the Reus Airport is situated just a few kilometres from the north of Terres de l'Ebre. It has got regular flights towards different European capital cities.
