BEACHES AND HARBOURS WITH A BLUE FLAG

There is a blue flag in seven beaches in Terres de l'Ebre. It is an emblem that has been awarded because of the quality of waters, safety and life-saving services. The pleasure harbours in l’Ametlla and l’Ampolla also own a blue flag, as an award for the respectful management of the environment. Every year, when the summer period comes closer, the Associació d’Educació Ambiental i del Consumidor (Environmental Education and Consumer Association www.fee-international.org) publishes the list of beaches and pleasure harbours that have been awarded this quality recognition.
