Natural Parks are environmental spaces that enjoy a special protection because of their biological or landscape richness. During your stay in Terres de l'Ebre, you will be able to enjoy two territories that have this protection emblem: the Delta de l'Ebre and the Massif Els Ports.

The Delta de l’Ebre Natural Park is situated in the mouth of the most deep river in the Iberian Peninsula, the Ebro. Along its 320 Km2 you will discover dunes, salt works, lagoons, more than 350 species of birds and an immense alluvial plain, which is the main humid area in Catalonia and one of the most important of the Mediterranean area.

But if you prefer the mountainous countryside, you will find the Natural Park Els Ports at about forty kilometres from the Delta de l'Ebre. It is a calcareous massif with a rich fauna and flora. There are more than a thousand vegetable species, thus it becomes a perfect destination for botanists and lovers of nature. As for fauna, the massif of Els Ports is the ideal habitat of the wild goat (Hispanic Capra Pyrenaica). This animal has become its true symbol.
