The regions of the Ebro are lands with a great cultural and historic heritage. Along the centuries, the Ebro river has become a fantastic communication route between the coastal areas and the inland of the peninsula, a site of convergence of peoples and cultures. On the other hand, the personality of crossroads territory between Catalonia, the Valencian Country and Aragón has converted Terres de l'Ebre into a central nucleus for negotiation, repopulation and expansion of Christianity. The imprints of all this legacy are numerous: prehistoric paintings, castles, churches and palaces, modernist buildings... accompanied with a good dose of traditions. Museums, historic recreation festivals and routes along decisive spaces in history allow us to enjoy them and, mainly, not to forget.
