Prehistoric paintings declared Heritage of Humanity, Iberian villages, impressive castles of Arab or Templar origin, Renaissance sites, luminous Gothic churches and Modernist Cellars showing gaudinian air are magnificent samples of the patrimonial diversity that Terres de l'Ebre has accumulated along the centuries. In fact, the Ebro river has been a key element for all the civilizations who have rooted in the Iberian Peninsula. The Iberians, the Romans and, later on, the Arabs and the Christians left a deep cultural and monumental mark. From all these civilizations we have received a singular architectonic legacy which has given these four regions in the South of Catalonia a particular personality.
