ARTISTIC SETS
ARTISTIC SETS The sculptural and monumental sets you can see in several villages and towns in Terres de l'Ebre allow to combine the knowledge of the territory and the discovery of contemporary art. In Tortosa, for example, we can find the Museum of the Gardens of the Prince, works of art in the open air by sculptor Santiago de Santiago. In Terra Alta, we can visit the Alphabet of Freedom, in Corbera d'Ebre, a homage to peace placed among the vestiges of Poble Vell (old village), destroyed during the Battle of the Ebro. Art al Ras is a project of insertion of art and nature, with around 70 sculptures disseminated along the rural paths which communicate the different villages. Culture and nature get together to enrich a visit to Terres de l'Ebre.

ARTISTIC SETSOther monuments

Several monuments remind us of its history and pay homage to the most famous people in Terres de l'Ebre. In El Perelló we can find, for example, the Windmill ( Molí de Vent) from the 16th century and the Monument in Coll de les Forques, built to homage 13 local soldiers who fought against the army of King Philip IV during the Harvesters' War (Guerra dels Segadors). In Collet de Sant Antoni, in Bot, we find a monument dedicated to the cult of Saint Antonio de Padua with a cross from 1759, recently restored and surrounded by a small recreation area. In Móra d'Ebre, in Plaça de Dalt, a monument to homage sculptor Julio Antonio has been put up in his natal home, where there is also a gallery. These are just a few of the examples of the sculptural monuments that can be visited in Terres de l'Ebre.
