CRAFTSMANSHIP
Craftsmanship has had a great importance along the centuries in the culture and the economy of Terres de l'Ebre. Although it is a sector that as a profession has become almost testimonial, there are many villages that have preserved this tradition. Pottery is produced in Miravet, Tivenys and La Galera. Cistelleria, baskets made of palma (leaves of palmetto trees), is still present in villages like Alfara de Carles, Mas de Barberans, Paüls, els Reguers, el Pinell de Brai and Rasquera. Other craft professions that have developed in this territory use dry stone, or leather as raw material.
